Another successful business year at Paragon, I am indeed privileged and blessed to have so many happy students who are learning and enjoying their lessons. New and experienced students are taught how to self-correct the missed target and get the X on their next swing – on their own – so they can do this successfully when they return to their home club.

Additionally, they learn how to create, and then duplicate the successful shot – on their own – for the same reason. Consistently good shooting should not be a mystery, because there’s absolutely nothing mysterious about more being more consistent and raising your scores.

With another registration today, it appears we will be having another C.I.S. Instructor certification class in 2017. Details on C.I.S. can be found at Paragon School of Sporting.

Now in the hands of the Editor, Book III is moving towards completion. A great deal of work and progressive thinking has gone into this book. It is up to date and thoroughly discusses the many questions and issues Sporting Clays shooters are facing today. Far more than just a “how to” text, in plain language, the book’s practical examples and explanations offer invaluable insights on how to specifically move your game to the next level. I’ve taken great care to deliver on this promise.

Deer season is underway here in the South as it is in most areas of the US. I’m greatly looking forward to some down time with a favorite rifle in my hands, my Ruger # 1A in .275 Rigby. Venison is always enjoyed in our home.

Your comments or questions are always welcome. Be safe and I hope to see you out on the course!
