First let me say, having been involved with Sporting Clays since 1979, I’m an old dog out here. Up, down, over and across the US, been there, done that, got the T-shirt…so I’m not easily impressed. But I’ve always been impressed with those course owners who take pride in their shooting grounds and tournaments. Joe Cantey’s 2017 Palmetto Cup, like the rest of his tournaments, was not only organized but “looked professional” from the time you entered the gate and on every Parcour and Field until you were finished with your round.
